Oxfordshire MP meets rock legend Brian May at Westminster

Sean Woodcock, MP for Banbury, posted a picture with Sir Brian on social media this afternoon (June 10).

They met at an event about bovine tuberculosis (TB), which is a notifiable animal disease affecting cattle and other animals.

He said: “It was great to meet Brian May today at the ‘New Light on Bovine TB’ event in Westminster.

“At the event I learned more about the ‘Gatcombe Collaboration’s’ approach to tackling TB in cattle herds.”

Last September a BBC documentary which followed Sir Brian May over a decade-long journey to understand the crisis caused by bovine tuberculosis and his opposition to the badger cull was released.
